About Heijeu Arts:
Heijeu Arts was founded in April 2023, by artist Heidi Jeub. The purpose of Heijeu Arts is to provide high-quality arts education, art-infused community events, and purpose-driven partnerships throughout Minnesota.
Heijeu Arts is created based on the work of Heidi Jeub, an award winning teaching artist, painter, and public artist. Through her work as a teaching artist, she has discovered impactful ways of educating folks of all ages, backgrounds and artistic abilities. In 2019, she built the Tiny School of Art & Design, a portable art studio that brings communities together through the creation of art. The Tiny School of Art & Design is the primary program for the first year of arts programming for Heijeu Arts, offering free pop up art events and tuition-based art camps.
Formerly Known As The Whit Gallery
From April of 2021, we started a new art space called the Whit Gallery, located in downtown St. Cloud. Being in Central Minnesota and during a pandemic served as the ultimate challenge and opportunity for big change in arts and culture experiences. This space provided creative and cultural refuge for all walks of life!
The Whit Gallery provided opportunities for artists and audiences to come together in a beautifully curated and welcoming space. The future of Heijeu Arts, even without the gallery space, will confidently facilitate highly intentional and magnificent arts events and activities.
