Heijeu Arts Launches Immersive Summer Art Program for Youth Grades 4–9
Local Artists Lead Interdisciplinary Camp Blending Art, Nature, and Community Engagement

St. Cloud, MN — Heijeu Arts is proud to announce the launch of its annual Art Smarts Art Camp, an immersive summer program designed for students entering grades 4–9. This dynamic camp is led by a team of nationally recognized artists, including Heidi Jeub, Terrell X, Heather Mastromarco, Lacey Eidem, Jeri Olsen McCoy, Jesse Switters, and Shane Mahon. Each brings their unique expertise to guide young creatives through hands-on experiences that celebrate imagination, history, nature, and community.

Art Smarts goes beyond traditional art instruction by integrating history, science, math, and literacy into engaging creative projects. Held at the beautiful Stearns History Museum, sessions are thoughtfully scheduled during the peak bloom of the pollinator gardens and the ripening of the Victory Garden’s vegetables—offering a vibrant, sensory-rich learning environment.

This program is made possible with generous support from the Central Minnesota Arts Board and the DJ Bitzan Family, ensuring accessibility and quality for participating youth. Heijeu Arts also offers high school internship opportunities and a variety of flexible payment options, including payment plans, multi-child discounts, and pay-what-you-can pricing.

The program is committed to inclusivity, with ADA-compliant facilities and trained instructors experienced in working with children of all abilities. Adaptable tools and individualized support are available to ensure every young artist can participate fully and confidently.

Registration is now open. For more information, visit https://heijeuarts.org/2025-artsmarts or contact Heidi Jeub, info@heijeuarts.org.
