At Heijeu Arts, we believe that artists, musicians, innovators, and the curious should come together often to thrive. Our goal is to provide a variety of experiences, important conversations and activities that appeal to our diverse community, serving audiences located in and around Central Minnesota.

About Heijeu Arts

Heijeu Arts, established in April 2023 by artist Heidi Jeub, aims to deliver top-notch arts education, community events infused with art, and purposeful collaborations across Minnesota. The foundation of Heijeu Arts is rooted in the extensive work of Heidi Jeub, a renowned teaching artist, painter, and public artist. With her rich experience as a teaching artist, Heidi has pioneered innovative methods to educate individuals of diverse backgrounds, ages, and artistic skills. Noteworthy is her creation of the Tiny School of Art & Design in 2019, a mobile art studio fostering community engagement through art creation. This program serves as the flagship initiative in Heijeu Arts' inaugural year, offering complimentary pop-up art gatherings as well as fee-based art camps.

Testimonials

"I attended The Our Narratives Workshop at The Whit Gallery. From subject matter and content to pacing and experiential elements, it was clearly and intentionally designed to bring value to its participants, and I personally took great value from the experience. Heidi and Terrell were excellent facilitators and have great skill in not only a wide range of artistic elements, but also in providing unforgettable, community-oriented growth opportunities. I would not hesitate to participate in future similar programming." -Amber

"The Whit Gallery has been such a welcome gift to me as I made my way in a new community."-Betz

"I always enjoyed my time at The Whit.  Whether I was drawing, attending an artist's reception, or reading a poem during Our Narratives." -Steven

Formerly known as the Whit Gallery fom April of 2021, we started a new art space called the Whit Gallery, located in downtown St. Cloud. Being in Central Minnesota and during a pandemic served as the ultimate challenge and opportunity for big change in arts and culture experiences. This space provided creative and cultural refuge for all walks of life!

The Whit Gallery provided opportunities for artists and audiences to come together in a beautifully curated and welcoming space.

The future of Heijeu Arts, without the gallery space, will continue to confidently facilitate highly intentional and magnificent arts events and activities in our community.
