Welcome to Arts Central…
I know myself better. I am the absolute worst… WORST!!! at committing to a blog, podcast, or regularly composed content of any sorts, other than Facebook. But here I am, attempting it one more time, but I think it will work this round!
Why? Because I have finally merged all the various types of art in my life under the umbrella of HEIJEU ARTS! Heijeu is a nonprofit organization that brings people together through the arts, art education, and creative events. We house the Tiny School of Art & Design, Everyday People Sketch Night, and Our Narratives workshop series for folks throughout Minnesota. We have a blast in this life as artists, so we want to share it as much as possible.
However we can’t bring the Tiny School every where, and the programming we currently do isn’t scaled to go everywhere, so we may as well find a way to bring our experiences to people all over the place / world / galaxy!
Why am I saying WE? Because I have a board of directors that are smart and passionate about the arts. I have community members that have plenty of experience doing amazing things and failing at things too. I want US to share our experiences, so you can learn and grow with us! That’s why I started this blog…
So to keep me on top of all this, be sure to follow and share these posts, and say hi! It will make me feel much better about my attempt at this, adding one more thing to my to do list.
